Hobie First Cast

The Hobie First Cast events are your opportunity to get in a Hobie kayak and fish! We take a maximum group of 10 people, put each person in a Hobie Cat, provide two fishing guides to ensure a good time and answer any questions, and a free lunch!
After a safety overview and briefing on using the kayaks the guides help you fish for the fist 1.5-2 hours. We take a short break and then swap kayaks so you can try more than one model of Hobie. We fish for a couple more hours and then finish up our time with a BBQ. To top it off, if you decide you want to buy a Hobie we’ll apply the $100 cost of the First Cast trip towards your boat!
The June First Cast Event is fishing for sea run cutthroat in the Puget Sound saltwater near Gig Harbor Fly Shop.
